Brent Shaw’s pathway in the real estate world began at a young age, as he actively contributed to his father Rick’s family real estate business. His involvement ranged from creating informative fact sheets, running errands, to managing advertisements.
At the age of 5, Brent received a paintbrush to assist at one of his father’s rental properties. By the time he was 13, he was pedaling prospective customers around the office parking lot in an authentic Taiwanese rickshaw during the grand opening of Rick Shaw Realtors in 1995. As a proud alumnus of the Visual Arts Program at duPont Manual High School’s Class of 2000, Brent’s passion for creativity continued to flourish.
Upon turning 21, he pursued his interest in Computer Animation and earned a degree from Fullsail University. In 2003, Brent returned to Louisville, where he embarked on a dual journey, dedicating his time part-time to the family business and simultaneously establishing himself as a Digital Artist for Business Media, LLC.
Between 2003 and 2008, he served as a sales assistant in model homes for Hills Communities, a prominent regional builder of condominiums and patio homes. In August 2009, Brent transitioned to a full-time, licensed Realtor role within the Rick Shaw Realtors team.
Over the course of the last 14+ years, Brent has successfully closed more than 300 homes, amassing a remarkable sales volume exceeding $40,000,000. His greatest joy lies in helping individuals achieve their dreams of homeownership and ensuring that buying or selling a home is an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
